As Picasso said, ‘Inspiration exists, but it has to find you working’. That’s why Genially has a whole section dedicated to making sure inspiration finds you and that you’ve got tons of new ideas at your fingertips. It’s called Inspiration and in it you’ll find creations that members of the community have shared to help you in your creative process. Some are there to help you find ideas, others to be reused as templates, and others just as treats for your neurons. In this tutorial, we’ll explain how to search for and reuse the creation you need when the ideas lightbulb isn’t firing.
Identify the geniallys that can be reused
In your Panel, in the menu on the left, you’ll see the Inspiration section. If you click on it, you’ll enter the amazing realm of awesome creations made by the Genially community.
You can use the search bar to quickly find what you’re looking for or filter the results to narrow down your search. If you select the filter next to the search bar, you can choose the Reusable only option, which will mean that only creations you can reuse as templates will appear. Another option is to combine this filter with others so that the search only shows up creations that are related to a specific field (media, corporate, education, others).
Reuse a genially from the Inspiration section
Once you’ve found a creation you’d like to use as a template, click on it and then click on the Use as template button. Now you just have to decide where to save your creation (if you’re a member of a workspace you can choose where to save it) and start editing it however you like.
TIP: Mark your best creations as reusable so that others can use them as templates and show off a job well done. We’ll show you how in this tutorial.
