If you want to go further, work as a team. Organizing work in groups is essential in order not to lose focus and achieve your goals. Create spaces for groups, departments, projects or simply for yourself and keep your workspace organized.

What are spaces?
Spaces are used to work with a specific group of members of your team.
Only those members who have access to that space can view and edit the geniallys it contains.
When you access a workspace for the first time, a private space is created by default with the name you registered with Genially. This space is private and only you have access to it, although you can invite other team members at any time to collaborate on the creations in that space.
Note: remember that if you leave a workspace, you will not have access to the private space.
How do you create spaces?
Creating new spaces will help you organize teamwork by adding members of your workspace to these spaces where it will be easier to create content as a team. Creating a space is so easy you'll be able to do it with your eyes shut:
Click on Create new space on the left side menu.
Give it a representative name: A Team, The Avengers, The Pink Ladies, .... Whatever you want! You can even accompany it with an emoji.
Assign a name to the space and use a representative icon to identify this space.
If you want a private space, select the Just for me option. If you want a space shared by more members of your team, click on Team members, then select which people will be part of this space.
Click on Create.
All set! Your new space is now created in the left sidebar.
How to add members
Working alone can be very boring, but there is always time to share your tasks. If you decided to create a private space accessible only to you, but now you have changed your mind and want to invite more people to collaborate, follow these steps to add members to your space:
Find the space you want to share.
When hovering over the name, click on the add people icon.
Enter the name or email of the member you want to invite.
Click on All set.
That’s it! The selected members have been added to your space.
IMPORTANT: you can only invite members of your workspace to a space.
How to leave a space
Everything that begins must end, and it is possible that you need to leave a space in which you collaborate because your mission in it is over. To leave a space you have to:
Hover over the space in question.
Click on the three dots that appear.
Press Leave and close the door when you exit.
Please note that once you leave the space, it will no longer be visible on your dashboard and you will no longer have access to all the content. However, the other members who belong to this space will continue to have access to all its content.
It is also important for you to know that if you leave a space that you did not share with anyone, it will be deleted and you will lose all the content hosted in it. Be careful, my friend.
