What is the Resize feature used for?
It allows you to quickly change the size of any element with precision. You can adjust the size of an element maintaining its proportions or you can assign the values of width and height that you want.
It’s also very useful for finding out the exact dimensions of an element.
How to resize an element
You can do this from the Elements tab of Designer mode. Activate Designer mode using the keyboard shortcut CTRL/CMD + M, or by opening the dropdown menu in the top right of the Editor and clicking on Designer mode.
To modify the dimensions of the element maintaining its proportions:
- Make sure that the Maintain proportions option is activated.
- Enter the values of width or height you want. You only need to enter one of these values as the other will update automatically.
- Press the Enter key or click on the Apply changes button.
To modify the dimensions of the element without maintaining its proportions:
- Deactivate the Maintain proportions option.
- Enter the values of width and height you want.
- Press the Enter key or click on the Apply changes button.
How to find out the exact dimensions of an element
