Did you know you can insert a genially into any website or blog without losing any of its great qualities? This way, your audience can interact with your creation without leaving your page.

To do this, all you need to do is insert your genially’s iframe or script code in the website. We’ll show you how; it’s easier than you think!

In this tutorial you’ll learn:

  • How to obtain the iframe/script code
    • From your Panel
    • From the Editor
  • Differences between iframe and script codes

Reminder: before starting, make sure that your creation is published. Here is a tutorial that explains how to do that, step by step.

How to obtain the iframe/script code

From your Panel:

1. Click on the ‘Share’ button that appears when you hover over the thumbnail of your genially. If you don’t see this option, it’s because your creation is not published. You need to publish it to be able to share it.

2. Select the ‘Insert’ tab and you’ll see that both codes appear; the iframe and the script. Click on the ‘Copy’ button to copy the one you need.

Differences between iframe and script codes

There are some differences between using iframe or script codes to insert your genially. The main one is that if you use an iframe code, the tags and interactive windows will always be displayed within the borders of your genially.

In general, using an iframe code is recommended because it has better compatibility with all browsers.
