Want your genially to be considered by search engines so that it appears on the results pages in Google and others? We’ll tell you how you can improve the SEO positioning of your Genially creations.

When you publish your genially as Public online, it is indexed in search engines such as Google and Bing, for example.

In order to better position your creation on the pages of results, we recommend that you fill in the SEO module. This means defining the keywords and adding a description of your genially which allows search engines to identify the topic of your content. To do this:

1. In the Editor, open the dropdown menu in the top right-hand corner.

2. Click on Preferences and select the Privacy tab in the window that appears.

3. Enter a title and description (maximum 300 characters).

If, on the other hand, you’d prefer your genially to be harder to find, you just need to leave the Description box empty.

TIP: If you don’t want your genially to be indexed by search engines, select the Private option. This option is only available for some premium plans.
