PLEASE NOTE: We no longer offer the service of integrating Google Analytics with Genially. Only users who had activated this integration previously will continue to receive information in their Google Analytics account.
If you would like more information about this change, we recommend reading this article.
In any case, we would encourage you to use Genially’s own analytics, with which you can get information about how your audience interacts with your creations, without leaving Genially or having to integrate an external platform.
Real-time measurement of views
Google Analytics allows you to monitor the activity of your geniallys the moment it is visited. Reports are continuously updated and each visit is logged seconds after it occurs.
NOTE: There are some limitations and warnings in real time that you can check here.
In order to see the reports of the views, you can perform the following steps:
1. Log in to Google Analytics.
2. Follow the path Real-time > Overview.
3. In the Main active pages section you will be able to identify:
- The ID of your geniallys (in the case of the exclusive page).
- The name of your geniallys (in the case of the social page).

Measurement of events in real time
You will also be able to visualize the main events of your geniallys such as the elements that have been clicked or pages that are being viewed. In order to do this:
1. Log in to Google Analytics.
2. Follow the path Real Time > Events.

Now you can access any of the events reflected to know exactly which element has been clicked.

IMPORTANT: it is important that you give a title to the elements in order to be able to differentiate them in the events (event label).
History of views
After at least 24 hours, Google Analytics will start collecting all the information about your geniallys. You will be able to consult this information by:
1. Logging in to Google Analytics.
2. Choosing a range of dates between which you want to measure views.

3. Follow the path Behavior > Overview.

NOTE: Data may not be displayed until 24 hours later.
Event History
After at least 24 hours, Google Analytics will begin to collate all the events that occur in your geniallys. You will be able to consult them by:
1. Logging in to Google Analytics.
2. Choosing a range of dates between which you want to measure.

3. Follow the path Behavior > Events > Overview.

By clicking on any of the events you are interested in you will be able to obtain more details. To do this:
1. Access an event from the list.
2. In the drop-down list, find the Title of the page and add that filter.

Using this filter, you will be able to know the title of your genially to which the measurement of those events makes reference.

Finally, by clicking on the desired Event Action you can see which objects of that genially are the ones that have been clicked.
